Notes from the Choir Loft

There’s a joyful sound coming from the CHOIR LOFT.

We’re grateful that the Parish Choir has returned for another season of singing. Their music lifts and inspires us as they lead us in worship.
Have you noticed?  They have also been ringing hand bells in combination with the organ .  Thank you Parish Choir. We’re so glad to have you back in the Choir Loft.
There’s another bell ringing during service. Our thanks go to Hewitt Jeter, who has taken on the ministry of ringing the Sanctus Bell during the Eucharist.  We miss Marty Miraglia who not only rang the Sanctus Bell for many years but brought the inspiration to have a Hand Bell Choir to St Andrew’s. Marty heard a Hand Bell Concert and thought it would be wonderful for St Andrew’s to have their own hand bells.  She proceeded to fundraise and build our lovely Malmark hand bell collection and direct the hand bell choir. We know how grateful she is that Hewitt has taken on this ministry.
St. Andrew’s will host this year’s Harrington Park Community Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, November 21 at 7:30pm.
The tradition in the Choir Loft is to gather a Community Choir for the service and we look forward to much joyful singing. Please come join the choir for this evening, as we gather with thankful hearts.
