St. Andrew’s adopts a family for Christmas

For more than five years, St. Andrew’s has adopted a family for Christmas. These families are part of the Family Promise network,  no longer in the shelter program but working hard to make ends meet in their own apartments.

This year, we will again adopt a family for Christmas. Bonnie Bryant is coordinating this ministry; she will be collecting donations from all of us. Then, Bonnie’s team of elves/volunteers will shop from the family’s wish lists, and will wrap the gifts to have them available for the Family Promise Christmas gathering. The family consists of a Mother, Father & 2 girls. Ages 5 months & 5 years old.

Bonnie says she would like to be finished shopping by the first week of December.

“I will be accepting donations during coffee hour. And once again looking for a few elves to help. Thank you for helping to make a family’s Christmas special. That is what this Blessed Season is all about.”
