• Coffee hour needs you. Coffee, cookies and a bottle of juice are all that’s needed to make fellowship happen after worship. The sign-up sheet is in the library—Please add your name!!

• You can sign up to give the altar flowers on Sunday morning in memory, or in thanksgiving, for someone or something close to your heart. The donation is $35.00, and the Altar Guild will order the flowers for you. If you prefer to bring and arrange your own flowers, a donation of just $5.00 helps offset the expenses of altar candles, wafers, linens, etc.

• Education for Ministry (EfM) is a wonderful way to delve deeply into the lessons of Holy Scripture and into the ways we explore God’s Word. It’s a four-year program, but you only sign up for one year at a time – September to May. A new EfM group is being planned for our area, starting in September, 2018. See Paul Shackford for more information.

• It’s the 7th Annual St. Andrew’s Summer Hymn Fest! Sign up to request your favorite hymns; we’ll sing them during the summer and early fall.

• It’s the Summer Service schedule! During July and August (and on September 2!) we will have one service at 9:00 am each Sunday. We will celebrate Holy Eucharist—All God’s Children on the first and third Sundays, at Holy Eucharist-Rite II on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays.

• Join your neighbors for National Night Out Tuesday, August 7, 6-9 p.m. at Highland Field. Meet your First Responders (also neighbors) and thank them for all they do for the Town. Witness some demonstrations and watch for the NJSP flyover.

• St. Andrew’s 26th Annual Food Drive is gearing up! Food bags will go out on September 14-16. See Kathy Ferdinand to volunteer.

• Saturday, September 8: There will be a celebration of the ministries of +Mark Beckwith and Marilyn Olson at Skylands in Randolph, NJ. Please see Pastor Diane for ticket information, or look for the poster at the lower entrance to the Parish Hall.

Saturday, September 22nd: The Rev. Carlye J. Hughes will be consecrated as the Bishop of our Diocese, at New Jersey PAC in Newark. Please check the bulletin board list, to let us know if you are interested in attending via charter bus, rather than driving!

• Harrington Park Town Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 8, Noon – 4:00 pm. Please support St. Andrew’s presence that day. Sign up for the Team! (Note: Pastor Diane, Paul Shackford and John King must be at Bishop Beckwith’s reception that day, so volunteers for Town Day are really important!)

• Many of the reports and presentations from General Convention are now available on our Diocesan website. Go to www.dioceseofnewark.org and look for “General Convention.” And, stay tuned for more information about decisions made at G.C.!

Mark your calendars! Sunday, September 9 is Celebration Sunday. We begin the Program year and gather for lunch. And on September 16, Sunday School begins!
